About
At the age of 15, Richard sold his first painting at Sussex Trust Bank in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Richard graduated from the University of Delaware majoring in Advertising / Graphic Design.
After moving to Washington, D.C. he pursued his career as Art Director in a Public Relations firm as well as having his own graphic design / advertising company.
In 1991, he retired from advertising to return to his passion in art. Because of his many years in advertising and working with clients diverse needs, he taught himself to paint in many different styles and mediums.
In this portfolio, you will find paintings from photo-realism to impressionism. He works in oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic.
